Overview
The ICS Lab is in the Post-silicon Semiconductor Institute at Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST). We create analog and digital VLSI systems for artificial intelligence and bio-inspired supercomputers. Our research goal is to extract the design principles of nature and apply them to dedicated bio-inspired (neuromorphic or cytormorphic) hardware systems.

Research Interests
- Analog/mixed-signal integrated circuits for neuromorphic computing
- Spiking neural network processors for sensorimotor intelligence
- Brain-inspired machine learning algorithms
- Cytomorphic(cell-inspired) supercomputing chipsets
- Synthetic biology: genetic circuit design in living cells
Opening
We have openings for highly motivated Graduate Students (M.S./Ph.D.) and Postdoctoral Researcher.
If you are interested, send an email with your resume and transcript to Dr. Jaewook Kim (jaewookk@kist.re.kr).
